It was a classic overcast day on the Canterbury plains, and somewhere in between 2-6 beers when two mates spotted a common trend amongst the student body…
Moving flats sucks.
It was annoying, time-consuming, a hassle to find the transport, and often pretty expensive. But that wasn’t all.
Students studying across the country were struggling with storing their stuff over the summer break. They can’t afford traditional storage, shifting it home is a nightmare, and, contrary to popular belief, it’s not worth risking leaving it in the flat (let alone the fact that the tenancy renews & your stuff will have to be gone).
At the start of 2021, co-founders Henry & Omri set out to change the narrative of move day. With large ambitions and no money, this was a pursuit like no other.
As the pair gained momentum, and word spread, Kepridge expanded across the country with a passionate team dedicated to simply making student life admin free. Our passion for people has allowed Kepridge to thrive in this pursuit, but you’ve probably heard this all before… so what sets us apart? Well, that’s easy, we’re students. Working with students. On a mission to, you guessed it, help students.
So when we say “student storage tailored to the student body”, we mean it, because we’ve experienced the hassle that comes with moving flats first hand.
